Greetings, Fellow Catfish Enthusiasts,

We’re deep in the offseason of Catfish Festival, uh, Festivities, but the dreams of flakey, delicate catfish and hearty hush puppies still linger; the hunger for deep-fried deliciousness still burns. (It’s only rumor at this point, but apparently there has been talk at the highest levels of the Denver Catfish Festival Steering Committee of frying a few filets for the LSU-UGA game.)

And,this was just too damned funny to pass up.

There’s even a reference to Baton Rouge, Queen City of Catfish Enthusiasm. (Shreveport is the King City.)
